Susan Stacy is a multi-media artist who works in a variety of 2 and 3 dimensional mediums. Her artistic journey began in the late 1960s designing custom eyewear. Stevie Wonder and Elton John sported her designs, and her collections exploded onto the national scene in the 1970s with features in People Magazine and on Good Morning America. Susan continued to spread her love of art by co-founding a California children's Fine Art and Music Education program (implementing the FAME program) and founder of her own DreamStream Design Studio.
Currently, most of her work is commissioned. Her creative process is driven by collaborating with each client to bring their ideas to life. "There is nothing more exciting than listening to someone's wishes, then questioning and exploring that person's desires to come up with a piece of art which expresses their unique concept. That is what drives me."
Her ever-evolving cache of artwork has many inspirations and represents a wide range of medium: Drawings, murals, watercolors, acrylic paintings, book covers, floor cloths, sculptures, and greeting cards. As a certified color consultant, Susan combines her services to create a more customized color palette in her painting to enhance her clients interior design.
