For thirty-four years I lived in the high desert in Southern California where I raised my children and worked as a teacher until retiring. Shortly after retiring, my Husband and I moved to Washington State where we are continually captivated by the amazing landscapes. I have always been one to carry a camera with me capturing light, color, and reflection wherever I can. The beauty of the Northwest inspired me to work in watercolor. It is my desire to continue to hone my skills as a celebration of my new life in the Northwest. I majored in design in college and then, years later, I went back to school and earned a teaching credential from Cal State San Bernardino. I worked at Excelsior Charter Schools for twenty-three years as a facilitator.
