ARTISTS STATEMENT

      My love of nature and  all God s creatures, great and small , comes to life in my paintings.  I enjoy trying to capture the personality of an animal,  or the mood of some beautiful moment in nature and share it with others who might have missed it otherwise.  

      My birthplace was Colorado in the mountains.  Early on I started drawing anything interesting in nature.  My education was to become a teacher but plans do change and I was in banking for many years.  I longed for the time I could devote myself to painting and now that time is here.  I love painting animals and have been com missioned to do several with very good results.  My membership at the Broadway Gallery is on hold for one year.  I am also represented in Bisby, Arizona at the Verano Fine Arts Gallery.
